SAM Announcement...Pardon our Progress
One of the ongoing challenges of parish life is maintaining and updating aging facilities. Several months ago, we discovered that the piping above the church ceiling had lost its insulation. This allowed condensation to drip down into the ceiling, causing significant water damage to both the sheetrock and paint below. We have since reinsulated the piping and are now tasked with repairing the damages by fixing the sheetrock and repainting the church ceiling.
To accomplish this task, St. Angela Merici Church will be closed Monday-Friday for the entire month of February immediately following the 9:00 a.m. Mass so as to allow our maintenance crew to access and repaint the damaged ceiling. Unfortunately, this means that all parish funerals scheduled for a weekday in February will need to take place at a local funeral home rather than within St. Angela Merici Church. Funerals can still be scheduled in the church on Saturday mornings and our daily Mass schedule will remain uninterrupted.
Thank you so much for your understanding as we continue to work to be good stewards of our parish facilities.
Know that I pray for you daily.
